Position Summary
Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team. This role involves conducting comprehensive audits across all departments, assessing financial operations and compliance with legal regulations, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to internal controls and processes. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of auditing standards, risk management, and compliance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations.
- Identify and document control deficiencies and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct risk assessments on key business activities and use this information to guide what to cover in audits.
- Report findings and recommendations to management and the board of directors.
- Follow up on the implementation of recommended changes to ensure compliance and improvement.
- Stay updated with changes in legislation and regulations that affect the company’s operations.
- Assist in developing the annual audit plan and maintaining organizational and professional ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an auditing role, with a strong background in financial and operational audits.
- In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting from $8,500, based on experience and qualifications.
- Annual Salary: Starting from $102,000, plus eligibility for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental and vision plans, a retirement savings plan, and ample vacation days.
